On October 11th, the Cubs learned about how Apple Cider is made in a fun and informative session at the McFaul Environmental Center in Wyckoff. It was a nice chilly afternoon and a beautiful setting by the small lake where the boys saw a demonstration of antique machinery in action - and everyone had a chance to wash, and crush their own apple. The demonstration was followed by fresh apple cider and cinnamon doughnuts. |
